With an infinity style pool that reaches into the living room, and located in the sunniest region of Madeira, this charming villa offers tranquility, exceptional views and close access to the sea. Located on a fajã (a piece of land at the foot of a cliff) in the sunny Calheta area, close to its sister villas (Villa do Mar I and Villa do Mar II) and slightly elevated, Vila do Mar III has been beautifully converted from a farmers’ barn in a charming villa with exceptional views and a heated pool that reaches into the living room. The living room is full of light and full-length windows that offer direct access to the pool and the magnificent sliding sea views. It leads to the large fully equipped kitchen with a large open barbecue. All rooms are on the first floor and have en suite bathrooms. Vila do Mar III is a sister villa of the popular Villa do Mar I and Villa do Mar II which are nearby. NOTES ON THE HOUSE There is free Wi-Fi in the villa and a phone that can be used free of charge for local calls to secure parking secure inside the villa garage is available for one car. A rental car is recommended. There is a supplement of 140 € per week to heat the pool to 24º. This should be requested in advance and is paid in cash upon arrival. Located in Fajã do Mar, 40 meters above sea level, where temperatures do not drop below 19ºC, this beautiful villa is the ultimate holiday retreat. There is a deserted pebble beach about 30 meters below street level, accessible by a rough track. Although public, difficult access, it is virtually private. A pretty little beach hut is located on the rocky beach 30 meters below, and shared by the three Villas do Mar. A terrace at the front with sun loungers, outdoor shower and built-in barbecue and a large table (seats for 16), is completed with a kitchen (fridger, 4 hotplates) and WC. Access is via a path with steps that leads from the level of Villas do Mar to the beach.
